This morning, Vivo announced that the Vivo S16 series will be launched on December 22. Vivo also mentioned the teaser, which constantly promotes the word “S16,” in the official announcement.
The vivo China website has revealed three devices in the vivo S16 series and showed some of their specifications.
The vivo S16e will be powered by a Samsung Exynos 1080 chipset, the vivo S16 will be powered by a Snapdragon 870 chipset, and the S16 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset.
All three devices in the vivo S16 series will feature a punch-hole display and a new Cyan color scheme. The entire Vivo S16 series has a 50MP front-facing camera with portrait focus support.
The back of the vivo S16 series features a main lens with OIS, and the series also includes a new soft-light portrait algorithm.
In addition, longer battery life and larger storage options will also be major highlights of the series. The S16 series will support 80W fast charging. The S16 will offer an 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version, while the S16 Pro will come in two storage versions: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage.
Vivo is expected to unveil the main highlights of the Vivo S16 series in the coming days.
