This morning, Digital Chat Station revealed the camera specifications of the Vivo S17 series. According to sources, the specifications belong to the Vivo S17 Pro.
According to the blogger, the Vivo S17 Pro will feature a triple-camera module, including a Sony IMX766V 50MP main sensor that supports OIS. It is worth mentioning that the Sony IMX766V differs from the Sony IMX766, as Vivo has made optimized adjustments to improve imaging performance.
The Vivo S17 Pro will also feature an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The third lens is a 12MP Sony IMX663 portrait lens for capturing images in bokeh mode.
Compared to the Vivo S16 Pro, the phone uses a 12MP portrait lens instead of a 2MP macro lens this time.
According to previous news, the Vivo S17 series will include three models: S17e, S17, and S17 Pro. The S17 is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 7 series chipset (most probably Snapdragon 778G or 782G), while the S17 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 8200 chipset.
The S17 and S17 Pro will feature an OLED display with 1.5K resolution. The screen sizes are unknown, but sources also claim that the screens will have curved edges. However, there is no news about the specifications of the S17e.
The Vivo S17 series is expected to be launched in May or June 2023.
