Today, vivo announced the appearance of the vivo S9. The phone is available in two color options, continuing the classic design of the vivo S series.
The back of the vivo S9 series features a rectangular camera module that includes three cameras. It has a straight bezel design and is known as a slim selfie phone. The vivo S9 has a 44MP selfie lens.
Previously, the vivo V2072A appeared on the TENAA certification website, which was referred to as the vivo S9. The device measures 158.39 x 73.87 x 7.35 mm and weighs no more than 200g.
According to reports, the phone will feature a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and will be powered by the Dimensity 1100 chipset. This is a high-end chipset launched by MediaTek last month, manufactured using TSMC’s 6nm process.
The Dimensity 1100 consists of four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. It integrates a G77 MC9 GPU.
The vivo S9 has a 3905 mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. It has a rear triple-camera setup with 64MP, 8MP, and 2MP sensors, while the front features a 44MP main sensor and an 8MP wide-angle sensor.
The Vivo S9 will be officially released on March 3.
