A few weeks ago, vivo launched the vivo X60 series and confirmed that the vivo X60 Pro+ will also be launched next month.
Today, vivo officially announced the launch date of the vivo X60 Pro+. According to the official Weibo post, the vivo X60 Pro+ will be unveiled at an online launch event on January 21 at 7 PM.
At the vivo X60 series launch event, the company confirmed that the X60 Pro+ will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset.
The Snapdragon 888 5G is an octa-core chipset manufactured using a 5nm process. It has one Cortex-X1 core clocked at 2.84 GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz, four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz, and an Adreno 660 GPU.
The phone will also feature a better quad-camera module. This module will include a periscope lens and will be optimized using Zeiss algorithms.
The smartphone was also previously listed on JD.com. The product page indicates that it will come in two colors: Deep Ocean Blue and Classic Orange. Both phones have a leather back cover.
As it is the higher-end version, its basic variant starts with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and it will go up to 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage.
