Vivo Y20 was certified by Bluetooth SIG

Today, the Vivo Y20 appeared on the Bluetooth SIG website. The certification indicates that this phone supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.

This certification involves a device with model number Vivo V2027. The same model number has appeared in several other certifications. The certification was submitted by Vivo Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. and was approved on August 18.

The phone has already appeared on many other certification websites, which confirm that it will feature the unannounced Snapdragon 460 chipset.

The Snapdragon 460 is an octa-core processor with four energy-efficient cores clocked at 1.61 GHz and four performance cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. The chipset uses the Adreno 610 GPU. The Vivo Y20 will be the first phone to feature this chipset.

For now, it is confirmed that the phone will also be available in a 4GB RAM variant, like its predecessor (Vivo Y19).

This phone will be an upgraded version of the Vivo Y19. Based on its specifications, the Vivo Y20 will be a smartphone in the entry-level to mid-range category. The Vivo Y19 features the MediaTek Helio P65 chipset, a 5000mAh battery, and 18W fast charging.

There is currently no official announcement regarding this phone. However, since it has started appearing on certification websites, it is expected to be launched soon.
