Today, a new Vivo device has been spotted on the China Telecom website. The device has a model number V2057A and is named Vivo Y52s. It seems to be the successor to the Vivo Y51s.
The listing also reveals the specifications of the phone along with its renders, which are the following:
- 6.58-inch U-shaped notch display
- Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080)
- Dimensions: 164.15 x 75.35 x 8.40 mm, weight: 185.5 g
- 5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port
- Chipset: Dimensity 720 5G
- 4910mAh battery
- Rear Camera: 48, 2MP with an LED flash in a square module
- 8MP front camera in U-shaped notch
- Side fingerprint scanner
- Colors: Titanium Air Gray, Monet Color, Coral Sea
The device is available in only one storage variant: 8GB RAM with 128GB ROM, priced at CNY 1998 ($305).
The Vivo Y52s uses a 48MP sensor, which appears very large compared to the sensors in ordinary cameras. Its camera module is almost identical to the one on the Vivo S7.
The device has been exposed on the TENAA certification website, which revealed it will support 5G networks.
As mentioned in the listing, the device will go on sale on December 10.
