Vivo Y79 with 5.99-inch screen spotted on TENAA

After the Vivo X20, Vivo is scheduled to launch its other full-screen smartphone – the Y79. Recently, the phone has been spotted on TENAA.

From the picture, the Vivo Y79 adopts a quite similar appearance design both on the front and back to the Vivo X20. The phone comes with a camera on the rear, while the X20 features a dual camera setup on the rear. It will feature a 5.99-inch full screen with a resolution of 1,440 pixels by 720 pixels and be powered by an octa-core 1.8GHz processor.

The Y79 is expected to come with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, which can be expanded to 128GB ROM. It will feature a 16MP front shooter for selfies and a 24MP camera on the rear. The phone will sport a 3,150mAh battery and run on Android 7.1.2 Nougat.

The Vivo Y79 measures 155.87×75.74×7.7mm, and it only weighs 160g. At present, it only provides a gold variant.
