Vivo Y79 with 5.99-inch screen spotted on TENAA

After the Vivo X20, Vivo is scheduled to launch its other full-screen smartphone – the Y79. Recently, the phone has been spotted on TENAA.

From the picture, the Vivo Y79 adopts quite similar appearance design both on the front and back to the Vivo X20’s. The phone comes with a camera on the rear while the X20 features the dual camera setup on the rear. It will feature a 5.99-inch full screen with the resolution of 1,440 pixels by 720 pixels and be powered by octa-core 1.8GHz processor.

The Y79 is expected to come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM which can be expanded up to 128GB of ROM. It will feature the 16MP front shooter for selfies and the 24MP camera on the rear. The phone will sport a 3,150mAh battery and run on Android 7.1.2 Nougat.

The Vivo Y79 measures 155.87×75.74×7.7mm, and it only weighs 160g. At present, it only provides a gold variant.
