Xiaomi Civi 2 will feature the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset, 120Hz display, and more

In September 2021, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Civi. This phone is only 6.98 mm thick and weighs just 166g, making it one of the Xiaomi’s most popular smartphones and posing strong competition to brands like OPPO (Reno series) and vivo (X and V series).

Recent industry reports suggest that Xiaomi is preparing to launch the second generation of its Xiaomi Civi. According to Digital Chat Station, a new Xiaomi device with a similar body and a Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset is under development, and is very likely to be the Xiaomi Civi 2.

Xiaomi Civi 2 specs

According to the blogger, the phone will feature an OLED display with full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080) and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is worth mentioning that the display supplier for this phone will be CSOT.

This phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset, featuring a 64MP rear main camera and a 32MP front camera, supports 55W fast charging, and comes pre-installed with the MIUI 13.

Based on these specifications, this smartphone is highly likely to be Civi 2. However, there is no official or unofficial confirmation yet.
