This morning, Digital Chat Station revealed the main specifications of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3. The blogger has already seen a prototype of the device, and the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will feature a foldable screen with a waterdrop hinge. At the same time, the device has a curved glass body and is still thin and light.
The Mix Fold 3 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The chipset is based on TSMC’s 2nd-generation 4nm manufacturing process and features a 3.2 GHz Cortex-X3 supercore, a Snapdragon X70 modem, and an Adreno 740 GPU.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 3 features a quad-camera module with a 5x periscope telephoto lens. The camera also supports 3.2x portrait center focus. It is worth mentioning that this is Xiaomi’s first device to feature a periscope lens.
Compared to previous telephoto lenses, the most significant advantage is that they allow mobile phones to capture distant scenes and bring better optical zoom effects. The blogger also reported that the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will support 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Currently, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is expected to debut in August. In the same month, Samsung is also expected to launch its new foldable series.
