In December 2022, Redmi (a sub-brand of Xiaomi) launched its Redmi K60 flagship series. However, the company hasn’t revealed the Ultra variant at that time. As per the latest leaks and rumors, the company is looking forward to releasing the Redmi K60 Ultra edition in the coming days.
This morning, it was reported that a new device from Redmi carrying the following model number “23078RKD5C” got listed on 3C Certification, and it belongs to the Redmi K60 Ultra, as per sources. The certification mentioned that this model would use Xiaomi’s 120W fast charging brick (MDY-14-ED).
The company has provided the same charger with its Redmi K60 Pro. The charger MDY-14-ED supports charging at following modes: 15W (5V/3A), 27W (9V/3A), 66W (11V/6A) and 120W (20W/6A). Except for this, the certification didn’t consist of anything more.
As per previous reports, it was revealed through some leaked schematics that Redmi K60 Ultra will feature a single-centered punch-hole display that would come with very minimal bezels. The display is rumored to be a 6.7 inches OLED Panel that also supports a 144Hz refresh rate.
In addition, the backside would feature a square-shaped camera module consisting of three camera lenses (two big lenses and one 2MP small-sized macro lens).
In terms of chipset, the Redmi K60 Ultra is reported to be powered by Dimensity 9200 SoC. The chipset is based on TSMC’s 2nd Generation 4nm manufacturing process and consists of the following cores: 1x Cortex-X3 Super Core (clocked @3.05GHz), 3x Cortex-A715 P-Cores (clocked @2.85GHz) and 4x Cortex-A510 E-Cores (clocked @1.8GHz). The CPU is also integrated with Immortalis-G715 GPU.
According to some information, the company would reveal the same model as Xiaomi 13T Pro in Global Market. At the moment, the launch time of the Redmi K60 Ultra is unknown. However, we can expect the launch in a month or two.
