Recently, the Mi MIX2 and the Mi Note 3 were launched and received great popularity. Now, a Chinese Weibo has exposed another Redmi phone.
According to the leaked images, it is the Redmi 5 Plus package box, which is quite similar in color options and style to the previously launched Redmi series smartphones. The phone is estimated to be a high-end version of the Redmi 5. It will come with a 5.0-inch touchscreen and higher specs than the Redmi 5.
Apart from the Redmi 5 Plus, the Redmi Note 5 has also already been exposed. The Note 5 is said to be built on a better manufacturing process and adopts an all-metal unibody design. It will still come with the fingerprint reader on the back. The phone should use a similar process to the Redmi Note 5.
Considering the Redmi series products’ high-cost performance, the Redmi 5 Plus is estimated to be priced starting at CNY 899 (approximately $138).
