This morning, ZTE has officially confirmed the launch event of its new model ZTE Axon 30 Under-Screen Camera version. On its official Weibo, the company has announced that the newer generation of under-screen camera phones is coming on July 27 at 19:00 (Chinese Timing).
In addition, the launch poster also consists of the renders of Axon 30’s new version, in which it can also be seen that there would be four color options: Black, Gold, Blue, Silver Gradient, and White Color with colorful lines in it. Moreover, the overall design is also different from the original Axon 30 series.
Furthermore, the ZTE Axon 30 Under-Screen camera version also got listed on TENAA Certification in which the full specifications of the device have been revealed.
Starting from the screen, the new Axon 30 USC (Under-Screen Camera) version features a 6.92 inches larger OLED Display, packed with Full-HD+ resolution and 1.07 Billion colors. In addition, the device weighs around 190g and has a thickness of 7.8mm.
Next, we have an octa-core chipset with a maximum 3.2GHz frequency. Most probably, it would be Snapdragon 870, as the maximum frequency of both chipsets is the same. The Snapdragon 870 is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865 series.
In terms of camera configuration, we have a dual Oreo shaped camera setup which seems copied from the Honor 50 series. We have a single 64MP main camera lens in the first circle, while in the second circle, we have three (8MP+5MP+2MP) camera lenses.
On the front side, we have a single 16MP lens under the display. The fingerprint sensor would also be placed under the screen and there would be no 3.5mm headphone jack as it is mentioned that there would be a USB Type-C to 3.5mm headphone dock in the box.
