Samsung appears to be developing another M series device. Following the Galaxy M02, another Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-M625F has now appeared in the FCC database. This model number indicates that the smartphone belongs to the Samsung Galaxy M62.
The Samsung Galaxy M62 will be the high-end model among Samsung’s affordable phones. The FCC documents reveal its charging specifications and other key specifications.
The Galaxy M62 has an EB-BM415ABY battery, which is a 7000mAh battery that has already been used in the Galaxy M41. It also comes with a Samsung EP-TA800 25W charger.
The Galaxy M62 also has a USB Type-C port, as the certification documents mention that it includes a Type-C to Type-C cable. The 3.5mm headphone jack is also retained.
We can also confirm that the Galaxy M62 display will feature a punch-hole or notch, as shown in the phone’s screenshots. Since the SM-E625F was also mentioned, the device will be launched in some regions under the name Galaxy F62.
The applicant for this certification is Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. The model number SM-M625F/DS mentioned in the certification is the dual SIM version.
As this is the first leak of the Samsung Galaxy M62, other specifications, such as the display, chipset, and related features, have not yet been revealed.
The Galaxy M62 is expected to be launched soon, as FCC certification shows that the device has entered the final development stage.
