Honor V40 5G Launch Delayed: Now Coming On January 22

A few days ago, Honor officially confirmed that they would launch the all-new Honor V40 series on 18th January. But today, the company has officially stated that the launch date has been delayed.

As per the official Weibo post (from Honor), the Honor V40 series will now be launched on 22nd January at 10 AM. The smartphone sale will start on the same at 12 PM (after two hours of the launch event).

The event has been delayed due to the conference venue and equipment (as mentioned by the officials). This is not the first time the launch event of Honor V40 got delayed. Before this, the launch was set to happen on 12th January, but then it got delayed. It wasn’t official at that time.

In the official post (on Weibo), the company has also mentioned that with the Honor V40 series, the users can explore every possibility with science and technology. It also brings an unprecedented experience upgrade.

If we talk about phone specifications, the Honor V40 features a display with the highest specifications ever. As per officials, it a 1 billion color retina super-sensing screen, supporting 1B color depth, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz screen sampling rate, and also equipped with under-screen fingerprint recognition.

It is also known that the Honor V40 will be powered by Dimensity 1000+ flagship chipset, LPDDR4x memory + UFS2.1 flash memory technology, built-in 4000mAh (typical) battery. It also supports 66W wired fast charging (the same in Mate40 series) & 50W wireless fast charging.
