It seems like Samsung is developing another M-Series device. After the Galaxy M02, another Samsung smartphone with model number “SM-M625F” has been listed on the FCC Certification site. The model number points out that this smartphone belongs to Samsung’s M-Series – Galaxy M62.
The all-new Galaxy M62 will be the high-end model of Samsung’s famous affordable. The FCC Certification of this smartphone has revealed its charging specifications and some other key specifications.
It can be seen that the Galaxy M62 is powered by a Battery having model number “EB-BM415ABY”, a 7000mAh battery that has already been used in Galaxy M41. It also comes with Samsung’s famous 25W Charger (EP-TA800), which comes in Galaxy S20 & Note20 Series.
The Galaxy M62 is also equipped with a USB Type-C port, as the data cable mentioned in the certification is a Type-C to Type-C cable. The 3.5mm headphone jack is also there, while the earphones this device uses, is the old one that Samsung launches with Galaxy A Series (2019).
We can also confirm that the display of Galaxy M62 will feature a single punch-hole or a notch in the center of the display, as the phone’s live images show that. It is also observed that the device would be launched as Galaxy F62 (in some regions) because another model number (SM-E625F) is also mentioned.
The applicant for this certification is “Samsung Electronics Company Limited.” The model number mentioned in certification, i.e., SM-M625F/DS, is a Dual SIM version.
As it is the first leak of Samsung Galaxy M62 (aka Galaxy F62 for some regions), other specifications like display, chipset, and other related things are not revealed yet.
The launch of Galaxy M62 is expected soon, as the FCC Certification shows that it is in the final development phase.
