It is known that the upcoming flagship models from Samsung would be its Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3. As the expected launch time is coming near, more leaks regarding the upcoming device are getting revealed.
Today, the expected foldable flagship “Galaxy Z Flip3 5G” has been listed on the famous Chinese 3C (or CCC) Certification. Like always, the certification has revealed the charging specifications of the foldable device.
As can be seen, the all-new Galaxy Z Flip3 will feature the same old charger (EP-TA200) which Samsung has been using in its flagship and mid-range devices for a long time. The charger supports maximum fast charging of 15W (9V, 1.67A). It can also charge the device at 10W (5V, 2A).
The model number SM-F7110 denotes that the tested model is the Chinese version of Galaxy Z Flip3 5G. The previous model Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a model number SM-F700, from which it is concluded that the suspected model number will be the successor of Galaxy Z Flip 5G.
As mentioned in the 3C Certification, the applicant is Samsung Electronics Company Limited. Moreover, the device has been listed today (on May 7).
As per previous info, the Galaxy Z Flip3 will feature Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, Snapdragon 888. It is an octa-core chipset based on a 5nm manufacturing process and features a Cortex-X1 core (clocked @2.84GHz) for a better performance than the previous models.
Moreover, it was also revealed that the back design would be different from the previous model. The camera numbers are still only two on the backside, but they are placed in a different design. The camera and upper area are black colored.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G is expected to launch along with the Galaxy Z Fold3 on August 3, as revealed in the previous post. The expected price of Galaxy Z Flip3 5G is $990 for the base storage variant and $1199 for the top variant.
