Honor 90 appeared on 3C certification with 66W charging

This morning, a new Honor device with model number REA-AN00 was listed on the 3C certification. According to the sources, this model number belongs to the Honor 90. The 3C certification has revealed its charging specifications.

REA-AN00

As mentioned, the Honor 90 will support a maximum of 66W charging and will use the same 66W charger that Huawei released with its Mate 40 series. The charger will use Honor branding and will support charging in the following modes: 10W, 40W, and 66W. If compared to the Honor 80, the company has not upgraded the charging power.

According to previous reports, the specifications of the Honor 90 series are expected to be almost the same as the Honor 80 series. However, very little change is expected.

It was previously reported that the Honor 90 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. In addition, as with the Honor 80 Pro, the display resolution and primary camera sensor will also be the same.

It is worth mentioning that the Honor 80 Pro uses the Samsung ISOCELL HP3 200MP primary sensor, but is limited to capturing only 160MP photos. It is expected that Honor might allow capturing 200MP images in its upcoming Honor 90 Pro.

At the moment, there is very little information about the Honor 90 lineup. However, it is expected to launch in May 2023.
