A few weeks before, Vivo introduced its Vivo Pad2, powered by Dimensity 9000, with sub-flagship level specifications. Now, the sub-brand of Vivo (iQOO) is working on its first-ever tablet, which is expected to launch soon, as per the latest leaks and rumors.
This morning, the famous blogger @DigitalChatStation (on Weibo) revealed the information regarding the iQOO’s first-ever tablet. As per the blogger, iQOO Pad will be the shell replacement for the Vivo Pad2, which probably means that the iQOO Pad is the rebranded version of the Vivo Pad2.
In addition, there are slight changes in specifications. The performance level is set to be slightly higher than that of Vivo Pad2 so that it would be powered by a Dimensity 9000+ chipset. The chipset is based on the same manufacturing process as in standard Dimensity 9000 and comes with the same core architecture but with a higher frequency.
The other specifications are not yet known. However, it is worth mentioning that the previously launched Vivo Pad2 features a 12.1-inch LCD Display with the following resolution: 1968×2800 and supports a 144Hz refresh rate.
On the backside, the tablet features a dual camera setup which includes a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front side, the top bezel features a single 8MP lens for selfie shooting.
In terms of battery, the tablet features a large 10,000mAh cell in addition to 44W wired charging support. The charging port is a USB Type-C 3.2 port.
At the moment, the launch information regarding the iQOO Pad is unknown. However, we can expect the launch in the coming month or two. The pricing is likely the same as of the Vivo Pad2.
