Today, Digital Chat Station revealed that Honor is also planning to launch the Honor Play5 series after its main lineup. The blogger also revealed the specifications of the upcoming Honor Play5.
The blogger stated that the Honor Play 5 will feature a waterdrop notch display measuring approximately 6.53 inches. The screen is an OLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution. The phone is 7.46 mm thick and weighs around 179g.
The back of the phone will feature a quad-camera setup (64MP main lens, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth lens, 2MP macro lens). The phone has a 3800 mAh battery, which seems to be a downgrade compared to the Honor Play 4.
This phone will also support 66W fast charging, which may use the same charger as the Huawei Mate 40 series and Nova 8 series. The blogger also mentioned that the mass production version of the device may have slight differences in weight or length.
This phone will feature the Dimensity 800U, an octa-core chipset built on an 8nm process. The blogger revealed that the Honor Play5 series will be launched soon, but the exact date or month has not yet been confirmed.
