After numerous leaks and rumors, Honor has finally issued an official statement regarding the Honor V40 series.
This morning, Honor officially confirmed that the Honor V40 series will be released on January 18. They also announced: ‘Starting from January 8, Honor’s offline stores and major authorized e-commerce websites will open reservation channels, and you will have a chance to win gifts when you participate.’
In the official teaser, this smartphone features a dual-hole curved screen. However, its resolution, size, and refresh rate have not yet been officially confirmed.
This phone has a charging port, speaker, and SIM card slot. Its appearance is similar to the Huawei Nova 8 series.
Previous reports indicated that the Honor V40 is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset. This chipset is manufactured using a 7nm process and features four Cortex-A77 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz.
All devices in the Honor V40 series will support up to 66W wired fast charging, and it is also expected to support 45W wireless charging.
The Honor V40 is expected to have a 50MP lens, the V40 Pro will feature a triple-camera module, while the V40 Pro+ will come with a quad-camera module.
