This morning, Honor officially revealed the first model from the Honor X20 series, named Honor X20 SE. The model was already in leaks and rumors for the last few weeks, but today, it was officially launched by the company. The specifications and renders are also revealed.
Starting from the display, the new Honor X20 SE features a 6.6-inch Curved TFT IPS Display with a single punch-hole in the middle. The display is packed with 16.7 million colors and a Full-HD+ resolution (2400*1080p). It is also worth mentioning that the screen-to-body ratio is 94.2%.
Inside the phone, the most affordable mid-range chipset from Mediatek, Dimensity 700, has been used. The chipset features eight cores, including 2*Cortex-A76 cores (clocked @2.2GHz) & 6*Cortex-A55 cores (clocked @2.0GHz). The chipset also supports a Dual 5G standby.
In terms of battery, the Honor X20 SE uses a 4000mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery with super-fast charging support of up to 22.5 watts. The battery provides 10 hours of backup while gaming, 11 hours of backup while watching videos, and a big-time 52 hours while listening to music. The phone uses a Type-C port for charging and also features a 3.5mm headphone jack.
On the backside, the phone features a triple camera setup which includes the following lenses: 64 million pixels (main camera, f/1.9 aperture) + 2 million (depth of field, f/2.4 aperture) + 2 million pixels (macro, f/2.4 aperture). All of these lenses are arranged vertically in an extremely oval-shaped module. On the front punch-hole, a 16MP lens has been used. In terms of software, the Honor X20 SE uses Magic UI 4.0.
If we talk about the storage options and their prices, the Honor X20 SE is available in two storage options: 6+128GB with a price tag of 1799 yuan ($279) and 8+128GB for 1999 yuan ($310).
