Huawei Mate 40 series TPU case leaked

Today, Digital Chat Station revealed live images of the TPU protective cases for the Huawei Mate 40 series. These photos show the component layout of both phones.

The camera module hole is slightly larger than the one on the Huawei Mate 30 series. This phone does not have a flash hole (as the blogger mentioned), and it is expected that the flash has been moved inside the camera module.

The volume and power buttons on both phones are in the same position as the Huawei Mate 30 series. According to the Mate 40 Pro protective case, the device will be equipped with dual speakers, as the case features holes for them.

The charging port is likely to use a Type-C port that supports fast charging. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro case does not leave space for a headphone jack, while the Mate 40 case has a hole at the top, indicating that this phone may retain a 3.5mm headphone jack.

According to previous reports, the Mate 40 series is expected to feature an upgraded waterfall display with dual punch-hole cameras and support a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone may also feature an improved camera system and the unannounced Kirin 9000 chipset.

Currently, the phone is expected to launch in late September or early October.
