A few days ago, an image of the back cover mold of the Huawei Mate 60 was revealed, showing its back cover design.
Today, Digital Chat Station unveiled a render of the Huawei Mate 60 Pro, which showcases the phone’s camera module and rear design.
The Huawei Mate 60 Pro still uses a circular camera module, but the arrangement of the lenses within the circle is different. In addition, it comes with three lenses. In the middle of the circle, there is the XMAGE brand. The back is also designed with curved edges.
The blogger mentions that the device will be equipped with an infrared emitter at the top of the frame, a speaker in the lower right corner, and an earpiece placed inside the double punch hole of the display.
According to the leak, the Huawei Mate 60 series will have a dual-punch display, similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island display on the iPhone 14 Pro. However, this display will also have sidesedges. The dual-punch hole will include a ToF 3D sensor and a selfie lens.
It was also reported that Huawei may abandon Qualcomm’s chipset and use its self-developed chipset in the Huawei Mate 60 series. Huawei is limited to using only the 4G chipset by the US government.
For now, we can expect the Huawei Mate 60 series to be launched in the fall of 2023.
