A few days ago, an image of the back cover mold for the Huawei Mate 60 was revealed, revealing its rear design.

The Huawei Mate 60 Pro still features a circular camera module, but the lens arrangement within the ring is different. In addition, the phone features a triple-camera setup. The XMAGE logo is printed in the center of the ring, and the back also features curved edges.

The blogger mentioned that the device will have an infrared emitter on the top of the body, a speaker at the lower right corner, and an earpiece embedded in the dual punch hole of the screen.

According to the leak, the Huawei Mate 60 series will have a dual-punch-hole display, similar to the Dynamic Island display on the iPhone 14 Pro. However, this display will also have side edges. The dual-punch hole will house a ToF 3D sensor and a selfie lens.

Other reports suggest that Huawei may abandon Qualcomm chipsets and instead use its self-developed chipsets in the Huawei Mate 60 series. Huawei is limited to using only the 4G chipsets by the US government.

For now, we can expect the Huawei Mate 60 series to be launched in the fall of 2023.
