Today, Huawei has officially confirmed the upcoming Nova 8 series. The official post mentions that the phone will be released on December 23. The Nova 8 series will be powered by the Kirin 985 5G chipset.
According to a digital blogger from Weibo, the Nova 8 series will be powered by Kirin chipsets. The base variant costs about CNY 3000 ($459), and the Nova 8 Pro costs around CNY 4000 ($612).
The Huawei Nova 8 series will go on sale on December 30. According to reports, this phone will be powered by a Kirin 9000 chipset. Some models are expected to feature MediaTek’s chipset or maybe old Kirin chipsets. These would most probably be the starter variants.
According to sources, Huawei will launch a new device with the Dimensity 700 chipset. It is expected to come with a 6.5-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. This could be an IPS display with a single punch hole. There is a 16MP lens in the punch hole.
On the back, it would feature a quad-camera (48+8+2+2MP). The phone will have a 4000mAh battery and support 40W fast charging.
