Huawei Nova 8 series is scheduled to launch on December 23

Today, Huawei officially confirmed that the Nova 8 series will be released on December 23.

According to a Weibo blogger, the Nova 8 series will be powered by Kirin chipsets. The base variant costs about CNY 3000 ($459), and the Nova 8 Pro costs around CNY 4000 ($612).

The Huawei Nova 8 series will go on sale on December 30. According to reports, this phone will be powered by a Kirin 9000 chipset. Some models are expected to feature MediaTek chipsets or older Kirin chipsets, which are most probably the starter variants.

According to sources, Huawei will launch a new device with the Dimensity 700 chipset. The device is expected to feature a 6.5-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. This could be an IPS display with a single punch hole, and a 16MP lens is in the hole.

The back of the phone will feature a quad-camera system (48MP, 8MP, 2MP, 2MP). It will feature a 4,000 mAh battery and support 40W fast charging.
