Huawei Nova 8 Series Scheduled to Launch on December 23

Today, Huawei has officially confirmed its coming Nova8 series. The brand new Nova 8 series is set to be launched on December 23, as mentioned in the official post (Weibo). The all-new Nova 8 series would be the successor of the Nova 7 series, powered by Kirin 985 5G chipset.

As per digital blogger @Changan Digital King, the all-new Nova 8 series will be powered by the Kirin chipsets, and they have a starting price of about 3000 yuans (Equivalent to 459USD) for the base variant. The pro version has a starting price of around 4000 yuans (Equivalent to 612USD).

The Huawei’s Nova 8 series will go on sale on 30th December. As per reports, this series will be powered by Kirin 9000 chipset. Some models are expected to feature Mediatek’s chipset or maybe old Kirin chipsets also, most probably, these would be the starter variants.

As per sources, Huawei is near to launch a new device with Dimensity 700 chipset. It is expected to feature a 6.5 inches display with Full-HD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. This may be an IPS display with a Single Punch-Hole. The Single Punch-Hole will come with a 16MP lens.

On the backside, it would feature a quad-camera (48+8+2+2MP). A 4000mAh battery will power the phone with 40W fast charging support. It is expected to be one of Huawei’s Nova 8 series models.
