iQOO 9 Got 3C Certification with 120W Charging

The expected iQOO’s upcoming flagship series is the all-new iQOO 9 series, powered by the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset. This series was also listed in the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 powered first batch devices list. Currently, there is no official news regarding the existence of the series. However, the recent developments show that the device is under the final testing phase.

This evening, the expected standard iQOO 9 with model number V2171A has been listed on the 3C (or CCC) Certification site, also revealing the charging specifications of the device. As mentioned, the new iQOO 9 will come with a 120W charger having two model numbers: V12060L0B0-CN and V12060L0D0-CN.

The charger will also support charging at different modes, starting from 10W (5V/2A) and going to a maximum of 120W (20V/6A). Along with the 120W charger, it was reported that the standard iQOO 9 would feature a 4550mAh battery, while the Pro model would feature a bit larger 4700mAh battery.

In terms of other specifications, the new iQOO 9 series is expected to feature an OLED Display with a higher refresh rate of up to 120Hz and HDR10 support. As mentioned before, the new Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset would also be the main highlight of these phones.

In terms of core configurations, the new flagship chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen1 features 1x Super Cortex-X2 core (clocked @2.99GHz), 3x Cortex-A710 Performance core (clocked @2.4GHz), and 4x Cortex-A510 Energy-efficient core (clocked @1.8GHz). In addition, the CPU also features the latest Adreno 730 GPU.

At the moment, it is expected that the officials will soon announce their upcoming flagship series.
