It is reported that iQOO is developing a new iQOO Neo series, and the device will be named iQOO Neo5. This phone has already appeared on several certification websites.
Today, iQOO posted a new poster on its official Weibo account. As shown in the poster, the iQOO Neo5 will be officially released on March 16. The slogan for this phone is ‘Born to Win’.
Apart from the release date, this poster does not reveal any other information.
According to previous reports, the iQOO Neo5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC. This SoC is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865, with a maximum frequency of 3.2 GHz, while the other specifications are the same as the Snapdragon 865.
Real photos of the device have also been revealed, confirming that it will feature a waterdrop display. The phone will run the latest Origin OS based on Android 11. In addition, the phone appeared on the 3C certification website with a 66W charger, confirming it supports 66W fast charging.
The iQOO Neo5 will feature a triple-camera setup (48MP, 13MP, 2MP). The main 48MP camera is expected to use a Sony IMX598 sensor. Sources also revealed that the starting price of this phone is about CNY 2,999 ($465).
