A month ago, the 3C certification website revealed that Lenovo is developing a new gaming phone under the Legion brand. Other leaks also suggested that the phone will be named Lenovo Legion Y90.
This afternoon, Motorola’s product director uploaded two screenshots of the Legion Y90, showing its main specifications. The director also mentioned that he kept the device in his bag, and after 8 days, the battery was down to only 22%.
Not only that, but the device also maintains a temperature of 19°C, suggesting its cooling performance will be excellent. In the second screenshot, the full specifications are mentioned.
The Legion Y90 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, manufactured using a 4nm process. This chipset features a Cortex-X2 super core, an X65 5G modem, and an Adreno 730 GPU. The device also comes with 22GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 640GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The Y90 features a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and supports a touch sampling rate of up to 720Hz. The device has a large 5600 mAh battery and supports 68W fast charging. It uses a dual-fan, dual-fin liquid-cooling system and includes highlights such as Dolby Atmos support, dual shoulder keys, and the latest ZUI 13 OS.
As mentioned in the previous teaser post, the Legion Y90 uses a cooling structure that combines dual fans with heat fins. The temperature difference between theinlet and outlet air can reach only 25 degrees Celsius. The active cooling mechanism can additionally release about 4W of performance.
