A month ago, the 3C certification site revealed that Lenovo is developing a new gaming phone under the Legion branding. The other leaks also suggested that the phone will be named Lenovo Legion Y90.
This afternoon, Motorola’s Director of Product uploaded two screenshots of the Legion Y90 showing its main specs. The director also mentioned that he put the test device in his bag, and after eight days, the battery was only 22% left.
Not only that, but the device also maintains a temperature of 19 degrees Celsius, which suggests that its cooling performance will be excellent. In the second screenshot, the full specifications are mentioned.
The Legion Y90 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which is based on a 4nm manufacturing process and features a Cortex-X2 super core, an X65 5G modem, and an Adreno 730 GPU. The device also features 22GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 640GB of UFS 3.1 SSD.
The Y90 has a 144Hz AMOLED (6.9-inch) display panel, which also supports a higher 720Hz touch sampling rate. The Legion Y90 also features a large 5600mAh battery with 68W fast charging. The device uses dual-fan and dual-fin liquid cooling technology. The device also features highlights such as Dolby Atmos support, 2×2 shoulder buttons, and the latest ZUI 13 OS.
As per the previous warm-up posts, the Legion Y90 adopts a cooling structure of dual fans and fins. The temperature difference between the inlet and outlet air can reach only 25 degrees Celsius. The active cooling provides an additional performance release of around 4W.
