It was reported that Redmi might unveil another gaming smartphone after the launch of the Redmi K40 Gaming Enhanced Edition. A few days ago, the General Manager (Lu Weibing) of Redmi announced that the company will launch a new model in its Redmi K40 series, named, Redmi K40 Light Luxury Edition.
Today, a new device from Redmi with model number “Xiaomi M2104K10AC” has been spotted on the famous benchmark site, Geekbench. Some rumors suggested that this model would be the upcoming Redmi K40 Light Luxury Edition.
The phone has almost the same model number as in Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, i.e., “M2104K10C,” from which we can expect that this would be Redmi’s second and more affordable gaming machine.
As per Geekbench, the smartphone is equipped with Dimensity 1100 chipset, the latest sub-flagship chipset from Mediatek at the moment. It is based on a 6nm manufacturing process and features 4x Cortex-A76 Performance cores (clocked @2.6GHz) and 4x Cortex-A55 cores (clocked @2GHz).
The new model is also equipped with 8 Gigs of RAM and has scored 727 points on Single-Core and 3105 points on the Multi-Core test, which seems a decent score as it is equipped with a sub-flagship chipset.
As per previous information, the same model was appeared on 3C Certification with 67W Charging, which confirmed that it would be the cheapest 67W charging supported device from Xiaomi. Moreover, a battery of about 5000mAh is also expected to be featured on the phone.
Other specifications like Display and Camera Setup are expected to same as in Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. Currently, there is no news regarding the launch of the device.
