MediaTek is now preparing to launch its key products, including the Helio P30 and the Helio P25. At present, some industry insiders have received invitations from MediaTek. The invitation shows that MediaTek will hold an event to launch the P30 and the P25 on August 29 in Beijing.
The MediaTek Helio P23 is said to be built on a 16nm process and adopt an octa-core design. The Helio P23 is rumored to support a 2K screen and dual cameras. The chip is also said to support Cat 7 and LPDDR4X memory.
The Helio P30 is likely to use TSMC’s 12nm process and comes with four ARM Cortex-A72 cores at 1.5GHz and four ARM Cortex-A53 cores at 1.5GHz. The chip supports Cat 10, and its downloading speed can reach 600Mbps.
A Weibo user has previously stated that OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi, and Meizu will adopt the Helio P23 for their new products, which are estimated to be on sale in the fourth quarter of this year. In the meantime, the Weibo user has further revealed that the shipping quantity of Helio P23 and Helio P30 can reach 3 million units per month.
