MediaTek now is preparing to launch its important products including the Helio P30 and the Helio P25. At present, some industrial insiders have received MediaTek’s invitation. The invitation shows that MediaTek will hold an event to officially launch the P30 and the P25 and announce the two chips’ detailed specifications on August 29 in Beijing.
It is said that the MediaTek’s middle-range Helio P23 is built on 16nm processor and adopts octa-core design. The Helio P23 is rumored to support 2K screen and dual cameras. Besides, the chip is also said to support Cat.7 and LPDDR4X memory.
The Helio P30 is likely to use TSMC’s 12nm process and adopt quad-core ARM Cortex-A72 up to 1.5GHz and quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 up to 1.5GHz. The chip is said to support Cat.10, and its downloading speed can reach 600Mbps.
A weibo user has expressed before that OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi and Meizu will adopt the Helio P23 for their new products which are estimated to be on sale in the firth quarter of this year. In the meantime, the weibo user has further unveiled that Helio P23 and Helio P30 shipping quantity can reach 3,000,000 pieces per month.
