We’ve been reporting that Motorola is working on a new Edge 20 series for a long time. There will be two models: Edge 20 and Edge 20 Pro. Both devices have already been listed on various certification sites, along with their specifications and renders.
This morning, Motorola officially announced that it will hold a launch event on August 5, and Motorola is very likely to launch the Moto Edge 20 series at the event.
In the official launch post, the company used “cutting-edge” and “one hundred million.” The word cutting-edge might denote the edge display of the Motorola Edge 20 series, while the one hundred million refers to the 100MP main lens. It was revealed previously that both devices have a 108MP rear camera.
According to past information, the Moto Edge 20 series features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a single punch hole and Full-HD+ resolution. Both devices are the same size and dimensions.
The only difference between the two devices is the hardware. The Moto Edge 20 will feature the Snapdragon 778G, while the Edge 20 Pro features the Snapdragon 870 chipset.
The Moto Edge 20 features a 3760mAh battery with 30W fast charging support, while the Edge 20 Pro features a 4230mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Both devices will also feature a side fingerprint scanner.
