Previously, there were many rumors that OnePlus may not launch the pro version of its upcoming flagship OnePlus 8T and now it seems like that the rumors were true.
This morning, the CEO of OnePlus Pete Lau has officially confirmed that there will be no pro version for the upcoming flagship model of OnePlus. He also mentioned that the users who like Pro-level products could continue to use OnePlus 8 Pro, the annual machine king.
Moreover, he also emphasized, “our plan for it is itself defined in a direction where there is no room for upgrade.”
Previously, it was reported that the upcoming OnePlus 8T would feature a 2.5D AMOLED Display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also provide the same refresh rate or lower (90Hz) during gaming.
It is also expected that it will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest chipset “Snapdragon 865+” (7nm), which is an octa-core chipset and has a maximum frequency of 3.1 GHz.
The battery size of the OnePlus 8T is 4500mAh with 65W super-fast charging technology, which can charge the phone about 70% in just 20 minutes. Moreover, it also uses a Dual Type-C cable.
Currently, the phone is set to be launched on 15th October (at 2 PM Chinese Timing) in an online launch event.
