A few days before, the President of ZTE announced that the all-new Nubia Z50 Ultra would be released soon. Further, it was also revealed that this model would adopt the all-new fourth-generation under-screen camera technology. However, the launch time wasn’t announced yet.
This morning, Nubia solved the launch date’s query by officially announcing that the upcoming Nubia Z50 Ultra will be launched on March 7 at 2 PM (Chinese Timing). In the official poster, it can be seen that the device features a rectangle-shaped display with no camera hole on it.
In addition, the officials also revealed that this model would feature a 6.8 inches OLED Flexible Straight Display (manufactured by BOE) that also supports 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and features a 16MP front but under-screen camera module (2.24um, f/2.0).
Regarding other specifications, the Nubia Z50 Ultra would feature robust configurations, as expected. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset, the best you can get from Qualcomm.
In terms of specifications, the chipset is based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process and features the following cores: 1x Cortex-X3 Super Core (clocked @3.2GHz), 2x Cortex-A715 and 2x Cortex-A710 Performance cores (clocked @2.5GHz) and 3x Cortex-A510 Energy-efficient cores (clocked @2.0GHz).
Previously, the backside design of the Nubia Z50 Ultra was also leaked, revealing that the entire body adopts a four-narrow-edge design (like a phablet device). On the backside, there is a rectangle-shaped camera module with four camera lenses (including a telephoto outsole lens).
It is expected that Nubia will start releasing the significant highlights of the device until the launch event.
