OnePlus Ace 2 with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC to launch on February 7

Today, OnePlus announced that the OnePlus Ace 2 will be launched on February 7. In the official announcement, OnePlus revealed a teaser but did not include any information about the smartphone.

OnePlus also announced that the OnePlus Ace 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and has scored 1,149,494 points in the AnTuTu benchmark. It is worth noting that the OnePlus Ace 1 was powered by the Dimensity 8100-Max chipset.

OnePlus Ace 2 chipset

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is the overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It is built on a 4nm process and features the following cores: one Cortex-X2 core clocked at 3.2 GHz, three Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.5 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz.

Sources have also revealed renders of the device, and the OnePlus Ace 2 looks almost similar to the OnePlus 11. However, the OnePlus Ace 2 has no Hasselblad branding on the camera module, while the rest of the device is the same.

 

According to previous reports, the OnePlus Ace 2 will feature a 6.7-inch punch-hole AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also come with a 5000mAh battery and support 100W fast charging.

The OnePlus Ace 2 will feature a triple-camera module with a 50MP lens, an 8MP lens, and a 2MP lens. On the front, there will be a single 16MP lens. The phone will be available with 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM, as well as 128GB and 256GB storage.

OnePlus is expected to start releasing the major highlights of the OnePlus Ace 2 in the coming days.
