After many leaks and rumors, OnePlus has finally confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 2 with the Dimensity 9000 chipset will be named the OnePlus Ace 2V. OnePlus also announced that this phone will be launched on March 7.
This morning, OnePlus also released the official poster of the device. The OnePlus Ace 2V will be available in two color schemes: Black Rock and Celadon Gaze. It is worth mentioning that both use different body textures.
Digital Chat Station has unveiled the Black Rock color scheme. It has a silky glass texture on the back and a delicate matte finish to eliminate fingerprints.
The celadon glaze color scheme features a celadon glass texture that feels as smooth and natural as ceramic.
The body adopts a flat frame design. The camera module on the back consists of two camera rings. The first consists of a 64MP main lens (OmniVision OV64M), while the second ring houses two camera lenses: an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP GalaxyCore macro sensor.
The phone has a 6.74-inch punch-hole AMOLED display with ultra-narrow bezels. The display supports 2772 x 1240 resolution, 2160Hz high-frequency dimming, and 120Hz refresh rate. There is also a 16MP selfie camera in the punch hole.
The OnePlus Ace 2V is powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset, which is built on a 4nm TSMC process. Yesterday, the device appeared on the AnTuTu benchmark, revealing that it will come with LPDDR5x memory and UFS 3.1 storage. It will also come with a 5000mAh battery and support 80W fast charging.
OnePlus is expected to reveal important highlights of the device in the coming days before the release date.
