OPPO A55s 5G appears on Google Play Console with Snapdragon 480 5G SoC

Earlier this year, OPPO launched the A55 5G, which is one of the most affordable 5G phones in the world. However, the latest development reveals that OPPO is planning to launch an improved version of this phone, to be called OPPO A55s 5G.

Today, the unreleased OPPO A55s 5G appeared on the Google Play Console, revealing some basic specifications. However, the listing did not include any renders.

As mentioned in the listing, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 480 chipset, another cost-effective 5G chipset after the MediaTek Dimensity 700. This chipset is built on an 8nm process and has a main frequency of 2.0 GHz.

The OPPO A55s 5G features a full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) display with a pixel density of 480 PPI. It comes with 4GB of RAM and runs Android 11.

According to previous reports, the phone features a single punch-hole display. The back of the phone features a rectangular camera module housing a dual-camera system. The device comes with a 3890 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging.
