OPPO A55s 5G Listed On Google Play Console With Snapdragon 480 5G

At the beginning of this year, OPPO introduced its OPPO A55 5G model, one of the most affordable 5G phones on the planet. But the latest developments are showing that OPPO is planning to launch an improved version of this model with a new naming, “OPPO A55s 5G.”

The unannounced Oppo A55s 5G has recently surfaced on the Google Play Console Listing site, revealing some basic specifications of the device. However, it doesn’t consist of any renders of the device.

As mentioned in the listing, the new OPPO A55s 5G is powered by the latest Snapdragon 480 chipset, which is another most affordable 5G chipset after Mediatek’s Dimensity 700 processor. The chipset is based on an 8nm manufacturing process and has a maximum 2.0GHz frequency (on Cortex-A76 cores).

It is also mentioned that OPPO A55s 5G features a Full-HD+ (2400*1080p) display with 480 PPI (Pixel Per Inch). Further, the device is equipped with 4 Gigs of RAM and runs on the latest Android 11 OS.

As per old reports, the new OPPO A55s 5G features a Single Punch-Hole (at left) display. While on the backside, it features a dual-camera setup in a rectangle-shaped camera module. Inside the phone, a 3890mAh Battery has been used, which would support 18W fast charging as well.

Currently, there is no official confirmation regarding the launch of OPPO A55s 5G.
