A few days ago, it was reported that all the Chinese smartphone brands are now moving toward foldable phone manufacturing. These smartphone brands include Xiaomi, OPPO, and Vivo. The latest reports claimed that we are very near to the launch of these foldable devices.
Recently, the famous Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that OPPO is currently working on its upcoming foldable phone, which is expected to debut in the second quarter of 2021. The blogger also said that the launch of this device will be more interesting than the OPPO Find X3 series.
Currently, only a few smartphone brands have launched their foldable phones, and only one of them is Huawei. The Huawei Mate X2 is one of the most selling foldable phones in the Chinese market.
It is expected that the launch of foldable phones from these brands may increase the competition in the market, and the prices may fall. The foldable phone from OPPO is also expected to be the competitor of Huawei and Samsung’s foldable phone.
In terms of innovation, OPPO has already introduced the world’s first extendable screen smartphone. Moreover, the company was also the first to introduce the water-fall display in the world.
Currently, the officials haven’t revealed any information regarding their upcoming foldable phones.
