Two days ago, the OPPO K9s was leaked. However, the renders and specs of the device came from unofficial sources. This morning, OPPO officially announced the existence of the OPPO K9s and further revealed the launch date.
The official announcement mentions that the OPPO K9s will be announced on October 20 at 2 PM. The poster also shows the official appearance. The OPPO K9s features the same camera design as the K9 series, including three lenses.
The phone will be available on 11.11 (the year’s biggest online sale) for less than CNY 2000.
Reports suggest that the smartphone will have a 6.59-inch single punch-hole LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a variable 120Hz refresh rate. The OPPO K9s will also be powered by the latest Snapdragon 778G chipset.
The phone will also have a 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. It features a triple camera module (64MP + 8MP + 2MP) while the front punch-hole would have a 16MP lens.
It is only known that it comes with 6GB and 8GB of RAM, while the storage options are still unclear. The officials are expected to reveal more highlights about this upcoming device before the launch event.
