A few days before, Realme officially announced that they would launch a new model named Realme GT Neo5 SE, which would be powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 7+ Gen2. Until now, there was no official announcement. But finally, this query has just recently been solved.
This morning, Realme officially announced that the all-new Realme GT Neo5 SE would be launched on April 3 at 2 PM (as per Chinese Timing). The company has revealed the teaser video in which the backside appearance of the device can be judged.
No significant change can be observed compared with the standard Realme GT Neo 5. However, this new model will be available in a new blue-pink gradient color scheme. The camera layout is also the same as the previous model in which there are two camera rings; the first consists of a primary lens while the second has two camera lenses.
As reported previously, the camera specifications are expected to change slightly. The primary camera lens in Realme GT Neo5 SE is a 64MP OV64M Super Matrix module, while the other two lenses are expected to remain the same (8MP+2MP). In the teaser, it can also be seen that the following lens information is also written on the camera module: MRTRIX PORF 1.79F/EFL 25mm.
As mentioned, the new Realme GT Neo5 SE would be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 chipset, which is relatively similar to the Snapdragon 8+. The chipset is based on the same 4nm TSMC manufacturing process and features the following cores: 1x Cortex-X2 Super Core (@2.91GHz), 3x Cortex-A710 Performance cores (@2.49GHz), and 4x Cortex-A510 Energy-efficient cores (@1.8GHz).
Regarding other specifications, the new Realme GT Neo5 SE is expected to feature a 1.5K resolution Single Centered Punch-Hole OLED Display that would also support 144Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming.
Yesterday, the device was listed on the AnTuTu benchmark, revealing its benchmark scores (almost similar to Dimensity 9000). It also disclosed that the top variant would have 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Regarding the battery, the new Realme GT Neo5 SE is rumored to feature a 5500mAh battery and would support 100W charging.
It is expected that Realme will start revealing the significant highlights of its Realme GT Neo 5 SE in the coming days until the launch event day.
