This afternoon, Redmi announced that the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will feature a 4700mAh battery and support 120W fast charging. Previously, Digital Chat Station also revealed that the first batch of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 devices will only support 120W charging.
According to the official teaser image, the charging cable design and appearance of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition may be different. The charging jack is located on the charging module to help avoid damage to the charging cable.
It was previously revealed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will be the main highlight of this gaming phone. This chipset is manufactured using the latest 4nm process and features a Cortex-X2 super core, an X65 5G modem, and an Adreno 730 GPU.
In addition, the key elements of the design, such as the camera layout and the gaming trigger buttons/keys, will continue the style of its predecessor. The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be launched on February 16.
