This afternoon, Redmi officially revealed that the upcoming Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will feature a 4700mAh battery and support 120W fast charging. Previously, the famous blogger Digital Chat Station also revealed that the first batch of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 devices will be limited to 120W charging only.
According to the official teaser image, the charging cable of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition may differ in design and appearance. The charging jack is placed on the charging module to help avoid damage to the charging cable.
Previously, it was also revealed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will be the main highlight of this gaming phone. The chipset is based on the latest 4nm manufacturing process and comes with a Cortex-X2 supercore, an X65 5G modem, and an Adreno 730 GPU.
In addition, the main aspects of appearance, such as the camera arrangement and game triggers/buttons, will feature the same aesthetic as its predecessor. The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be launched on February 16th.
