It’s been two days left in the launch of the all-new Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. At the moment, the officials haven’t disclosed whether the other (Standard and Pro) models will be launched in this event or not. Currently, the company is focusing on teasing the main highlights of the model before its launch.
This afternoon, Redmi has officially revealed (on Weibo) that the upcoming Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will feature a combo of 4700mAh bigger battery and 120W super fast Charging. Previously, the famous blogger @DigitalChatStation also revealed that the first batch of Snapdragon 8 Gen1 devices would be limited to 120W charging only.
In the official teaser image, it has been observed that the charging wire of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition might be different in terms of design and appearance. It can be seen that the charging jack is placed on a pill-shaped charging module, which might help in avoiding damage to the charging cable.
Previously, it was also revealed that the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen1 would be the main highlight of this gaming phone. The chipset is based on the latest 4nm manufacturing process and features the Cortex-X2 Super Core, X65 5G Modem, and Adreno 730 GPU making no compromise in performance.
Moreover, the main things in appearance like camera arrangement and gaming triggers/buttons would feature the same aesthetics as in the previous model. The all-new Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be launched on February 16 at 7 PM (Chinese Timing).
