Redmi Note 9 4G surfaces on TENAA with full specifications and renders

Today, the Xiaomi M2010J19SC was spotted on the TENAA certification site. According to reports, this model number belongs to the upcoming Redmi Note 9 4G.

The render shows that the back of the phone features a prominent Redmi logo and a new camera layout. The certification states that the device supports LTE network connectivity, which means it does not support 5G networks.

The specifications of the Redmi Note 9 4G version are as follows:

  • 6.53-inch U-shaped LTPS notch display with 16.7M color depth
  • Resolution: Full HD+ (2340 x 1080)
  • Dimensions: 162.29 x 77.24 x 9.6 mm, weight: 198 g
  • 2.0 GHz octa-core chipset (Maybe Helio G80)
  • 5900mAh battery with fast charging support
  • RAM & Storage: 4GB, 6GB, 8GB RAM with 64GB, 128GB, 256GB storage
  • Triple camera setup with a 48MP main sensor
  • Front camera in U-shaped notch
  • Side fingerprint scanner in the power button
  • Color Options: Black, Blue, White, Green, Purple, Red, Orange

The new Redmi device is likely not to use the Dimensity 800/720 chipsets, as this phone does not support 5G networks. It may feature the Helio G80 chipset, and the frequencies mentioned in the certification documents match this chipset exactly. This chipset also only supports 4G network connectivity.

The phone also packs a massive 6,000 mAh battery, which should provide excellent battery life.

The Redmi Note 9 series is expected to be launched in China at the end of this month or early January. It may also be launched globally as the Redmi Note 10 series.
