A few days ago, Vivo launched its Origin OS. This system will replace the current Funtouch OS. Today, the company also announced the roadmap for the Origin OS beta, confirming which models will be supported.
The roadmap also shows when these devices will receive updates. According to the roadmap, the first batch of devices for the public beta is scheduled to launch on January 31, 2021. The first rollout will be for the following devices:
- Vivo Nex 3S
- Vivo X50 Series
- Vivo S7
- iQOO 5 & 5 Pro
- iQOO 3
- iQOO & iQOO Pro (1st Generation)
- iQOO Neo3
The second batch of the public beta is scheduled to be launched before the Spring Festival (2021) and will include the following devices:
- Nex 3 & Nex 3 5G
- Vivo X30 Series
- iQOO Neo & Neo
The third batch of the public beta is scheduled to be launched in the second quarter of 2021. The devices that will get the Origin OS update in this batch are the following:
- Vivo X27 Series
- Vivo S6
- Vivo S5
- Vivo S1 series
- Vivo Z6
- Vivo Z5 series
- iQOO Z1 Series
- Vivo NEX S
- Vivo NEX Dual Screen Version
- Vivo NEX On-Display Fingerprint Version
It seems that more devices may be added to the list when Vivo starts rolling out the stable version of Origin OS.
