A few days ago, Vivo launched the all-new Origin OS for its devices. The Origin OS will replace the Vivo’s Current Funtouch OS. Today, the officials have also revealed the Roadmap of Origin OS beta. The Roadmap has confirmed which devices are going to get the Origin OS.
Also, the Roadmap exposed the timing when these devices would get the update. As mentioned in Roadmap, the public beta’s first batch is scheduled to be launched on 31st January 2021. The first rollout will be for the following devices:
- Vivo Nex 3S
- Vivo X50 Series (Standard Version, Pro Version & Pro+)
- Vivo S7
- iQOO 5 & 5 Pro
- iQOO 3
- iQOO & iQOO Pro (1st Generation)
- iQOO Neo3
The second batch of the public beta is scheduled to be launched before the Spring Festival (2021). It consists of the following devices:
- Nex 3 & Nex 3 5G
- Vivo X30 Series (Standard & Pro Version)
- iQOO Neo & Neo (Snapdragon 855 version)
The third batch of the public beta is scheduled to be launched in the 2nd Quarter of 2021, the devices which would get the Origin OS update in this batch are the following:
- Vivo X27 Series (Standard & Pro version)
- Vivo S6
- Vivo S5
- Vivo S1 series (Standard & Pro version)
- Vivo Z6
- Vivo Z5 series (Z5x, Z5i, Z5 standard version)
- iQOO Z1 Series (Z1 standard & Z1x)
- Vivo NEX S
- Vivo NEX Dual Screen Version
- Vivo NEX On-Display Fingerprint Version
It seems like Vivo may add more devices when they start to roll out the stable version of Origin OS.
