What is a laptop batery?
The laptop battery is the battery inside the laptop. Now using the rechargeable battery is one of the advantages of the laptop. Compared to the desktop, it can greatly facilitate the use of the laptop in various environments.
The function of the battery is to make the laptop work without AC power. It mainly relies on the inner cell to maintain energy. The quality of the cell determines the quality of the battery. Under normal circumstances, the battery life of the battery should be no less than 2 hours.
The internal structure of the laptop battery mainly consists of three major components: a battery cell, a charge and discharge control circuit board, and a temperature feedback line. The battery cell is the energy center of the battery, which is responsible for countless times of charging and discharging work.
Circuit board is the key component to control the charging and discharging of the battery. Due to the large capacity of the laptop battery, the internal reaction has to undergo a violent chemical reaction.
Therefore, for the sake of safety, the temperature of the battery cell must not be too high, and the temperature feedback line plays an important role here. When the temperature exceeds a certain level, the temperature is fed to the board through the temperature feedback line, and the charging will cut off immediately.
The laptop battery mainly uses the 18650 cells, that is, the length of the battery is 65 mm, the diameter is 18 mm. The 18650 cells are widely used in laptop batteries. Of course, some laptop batteries adopt other types of cells because of the constraints of shape and volume. The 18650 cell usually has a capacity of 2200mAh, and the higher specification capacity includes 2400mAh and 2600mAh.
The laptop battery consists of a shell and a battery cell. Generally speaking, the battery cell refers to the number of cells in the battery, and mAh refers to the capacity of the laptop battery.
In general, the more the number of cells, the larger the mAh value and the longer the battery life. The life of a laptop battery is mainly measured by the number of times of charge and discharge.
The products with qualified quality are generally 500-600 times. Therefore, the effective life of the laptop battery is less than two years, the expired battery will age, and the standby time will drop sharply, which will affect the mobility of the laptop.
