Back in June 2022, Tecno introduced its Tecno Camon 19 series, which consists of three models: Tecno Camon 19 (powered by Helio G85), 19 Pro (powered by Helio G96), and 19 Pro 5G (powered by Dimensity 810). After almost a year, the company looks pretty near to revealing the successor models.
This morning, the upcoming Tecno Camon 20 series models got listed on the Google Play Console listing, revealing the entire lineup’s basic specifications.
Starting from the standard model, the Tecno Camon 20 carries the following model number: TECNO-CK6. The smartphone is equipped with a single punch-hole flat display that supports Full-HD+ resolution (1080*2400p) and 480 DPI screen density. In addition, the smartphone also features 8 Gigs of RAM and runs on the latest Android 13 OS.
Regarding the chipset, Tecno Camon 20 would be powered by MediaTek’s Helio G85 chipset; the same SoC was used in the predecessor model. Regarding specifications, the chipset is based on a 12nm manufacturing process and features the following cores: 2x Cortex-A76 P-Cores (@2.0GHz) and 6x Cortex-A55 E-Cores (@1.8GHz).
Next, we have the Camon 20 Pro; it is worth mentioning that this model comes in two variants. The first variant carries the following model number: TECNO-CK6n. This model has the exact specifications as in the standard model of the Camon 20 lineup. However, the second variant is a bit different in terms of specifications.
The second variant carries the following model number: TECNO-CK7n. This model also got the same Single Punch-Hole display with Full-HD+ resolution. However, the chipset is different here. This model is powered by the Helio G99 chipset from MediaTek, while the rest of the other specifications are the same in the other two models.
The chipset is based on a 6nm manufacturing process and features the following cores: 2x Cortex-A76 (clocked @2.2GHz) P-Cores and 6x Cortex-A55 (clocked @2.0GHz) E-Cores. The CPU also comes with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
At the moment, the information regarding the upcoming Tecno Camon 20 series is minimal. However, the listing on the certification sites denotes that the launch is not that far.
