In March 2023, Tenco launched the Tecno Spark 10 series, which includes different devices aimed at budget to mid-range consumers. In this series, the company also introduced the Tecno Spark 10C, which is the basic variant of the entire lineup. Based on the latest developments in the industry, the company is now working on a successor to the phone.
This morning, the Tecno Spark 20C was listed on Google Play Console, revealing its appearance and specifications. The model number of the device is TECNO-BG7n.
The certification indicates that the Tecno Spark 20C features a punch-hole display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a 320 dpi density. It may also support a 90Hz refresh rate, as the predecessor has the same resolution display but with a V-shaped notch.
The phone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. It is a low-end chipset based on a 16nm manufacturing process and was launched in 2018. It has eight Cortex-A53 cores, with four cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and the remaining four cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. The CPU also integrates a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 13. The performance is expected to improve significantly compared to its predecessor.
