Honor 100 Series Got 3C Certification with 100W Charging

In May 2023, Honor released its Honor 90 series, which consists of three models. The standard model was powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen1 chipset, and the top model was powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. It seems that the company is now looking forward to releasing next-generation models.

This morning, two new models from Honor carrying the following model numbers, “MAA-AN00 and MAA-AN10,” got listed on 3C Certification. As per sources, these models belong to the Honor 100 series and support the same kind of charging.

MAA-AN00

The charger carries the model number “HN-200500C05,” which is Honor’s 100W charger; the same charger was used in the Honor 90 series. The charger supports charging at the following modes: the base 10W (5V/2A), 66W (11V/6A), and the peak 100W (20V/5A).

Except for this, the 3C certification didn’t consist of any more information. However, many sources claimed that the Honor 100 series, in total, would consist of three models, including the Honor 100, Honor 100 Pro, and Honor 100 GT. This time, the lite model would be dismissed.

Moreover, it was also reported that the models in the Honor 100 series will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset. The display would have a dual front camera in addition to a display cutout similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island. The display is also reported to support 1.5K resolution and a higher refresh rate.

It is expected that Honor will launch the all-new Honor 100 series before the end of this month. Furthermore, the certification is also hinting that the launch is very near.
